Letting go
I let go of old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve me. I am free.
In the eternal now, the past has no power. In this moment, you are free. If you have been feeling weighed down by baggage from the past, it’s time to unburden yourself. Know that it is safe to allow yourself to be fully present in this moment.
Sometimes life feels like a struggle more often than it does a joy, but you can correct that imbalance. Trying to resist or control your situation goes against universal flow and creates blockages. The solution is to gently accept who and where you are, right now.
Know that you are where you’re meant to be. You are fully supported and surrounded by love. It is safe to release whatever has been blocking your path. Take a deep breath and let it go now. Let go of all fear, self-doubt, and uncertainty.
Choose now to effortlessly release the past. Gently let go of any anger and resentment, allowing old hurt and pain to be soothed and healed. As you allow yourself to open to love and lightness, know that all is well.
Meditation:
Take a few deep breaths and allow your thoughts to settle. Mentally scan your body for any tension, then gently let it go. Bring your awareness to your Heart center (in the middle of your chest). Continue to breathe deeply, activating the loving green energy of your Heart. Breathe in love and acceptance, breathe out fear and resistance.
Then, bring your awareness down to your Base chakra (at the base of your spine). Press your feet firmly into the ground, then visualize or intend that tendrils of golden light are flowing down from the soles of your feet and connecting you to the Earth. Feel or imagine yourself deeply rooted and connected to Gaia (Mother Earth). You are safe and grounded.
Now, through this connection, choose to let go of all the old ways of being that no longer serve you. Call on the energetic element of Fire to help you to effortlessly release all fear and self-doubt. Allow all your resistance to melt away into the Earth, where it is absorbed by Gaia and transmuted into light.
As you do this, know that your energy is getting lighter and moving more freely. Choose to allow yourself to flow easily with life as it comes. Know that all is well, all is possible. Allow yourself to be serene and safe in the present moment. You are free.
Close your practice by slowly bringing your awareness back to your Heart, focusing on your breath and the feeling of your feet touching the ground. Allow your full awareness to return to the present.
